Calicut University Teacher Education Centre Manjeri was estabilshed by University of Calicut In 1992 as the first trainig college in Malappuram district of kerala State.The Cetre offers two year BEd course under six varied optional subjects-Malayalam,Mathematics,Natural Science,Physical Science ,Social Science and urdu.This is the only teacher education centres that offers BEd ocourse in Urdu under University of Calicut.The centre has a student strength of 100 spread over two years.The centre is located in a beautiful,serene location of Cherani,about 2km away from Manjeri town.
