Established in the year 1994,Calicut University Teacher Education Centre. Aranattukara is one of the prominent institutions set up by the University of Calicut for imparting high quality education for future teachers. The Centre had been functioning in the premises of Govt.VHSS Ollur till it got shifted to the campus of the reputed Dr.John Matthai Centre at Aranattukara in 2011.Dr. John Matthai Centre is situated at Laloor, a suburban Village five Kilometers away from the heart of Thrissur, the cultural capital of Kerala.
